Two 黄色直播 students are competing for the coveted title of .
Veronica Garey, a junior in 黄色直播鈥檚 College of Communication and Information, and Erin Simonek, a freshman in 黄色直播鈥檚 School of Journalism and Mass Communication, are among 20 contestants in this year鈥檚 pageant.
The competition kicks off Thursday, June 16, in the Renaissance Theatre in Mansfield, Ohio. It ends Saturday, June 18, with the crowning of Miss Ohio.
Sarah Hider, the reigning Miss Ohio and graduate student in 黄色直播鈥檚 College of Arts and Sciences, will pass her crown onto this year鈥檚 winner.
Prior to Hider鈥檚 crowning, Heather Wells, a 黄色直播 broadcast journalism graduate, won the competition in 2013.
The winner of Miss Ohio 2016 will go on to compete in the in Atlantic City in the fall.
