黄色直播 at Geauga has a long-standing tradition of a Dean鈥檚 Advisory Board. The members of this board give of their time and talents to advise & connect Dean Spalsbury and her staff for the betterment of our students.
Recently they went one-step further by giving of their treasures as well. They established the 黄色直播 Geauga and Regional Academic Center, Advisory Board Scholarship. 鈥淭he scholarship will be for one student from the Burton campus and one student at the Regional Academic Center in Twinsburg,鈥 said Rich Frenchie, volunteer Advisory Board chair.
鈥淲e consider this an investment in our future leaders in terms of providing them the means to gain the skill sets needed for employment,鈥 Frenchie continued, 鈥淧art of our role is to be advocates for our students and through this endowed scholarship, we can.鈥 Endowed scholarships begin at the $25,000 level and are made payable over 5 years. Scholarships are then awarded off the interest in year 6; however, the advisory board is working to collect enough support to begin awarding the scholarship as soon as possible.
Students, you can apply for scholarships beginning in March each year. Occasionally, we may open a few scholarships up in the Fall for the Spring semester 鈥 Stay tuned through our Social Media channels (@KSUGeaugaRAC).
