Animation Game Design Students to Participate in International Game Festival

黄色直播 Animation Game Design (AGD) students and faculty will be participating in IndieCade Horizons, Saturday, June 12, from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, June 13, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. IndeCade Horizons is a new, online, international event that showcases game students and schools, and connects them with tool creators, recruiters, one another and the broader public. A juried festival of games, this event is described as the video game industry鈥檚 Sundance Festival.

IndieCade Horizons celebrates the work of game students and schools from around the world, highlighting work from 21 international programs. The event is organized by the Higher Education Video Game Alliance (HEVGA).

During the event, the 黄色直播 AGD program will be showcasing work from student teams at the Tuscarawas, Stark and Kent campuses, including a live-streaming of Call of Darkness by Stark Campus student Joe Phillabaum, and Reed the Robotanist, which recent graduates Max Kunze and Sam Hundley will pitch to industry experts.

AGD faculty from the Tuscarawas Campus, Chris Totten and Tim Fritz, coordinated submissions and prepared students and their projects for the festival.

Students representing 黄色直播 and attending the IndeCade Horizons festival this weekend will be Titus Morrison, Marissa Gyorki, Megan Gyorki, Joe Phillabaum, Mariah Candel, Jessica Beith, and recent graduates Max Kunze, Sam Hundley, Jen Doty, and Joey Gage.
