Richard (Rick) Feinberg, professor of anthropology on the Kent Campus, was elected Section Assembly Convener of the American Anthropological Association (AAA). 

David Hassler, director of »ÆÉ«Ö±²¥â€™s Wick Poetry Center, attended a meeting of poetry organizations from across the U.S. at the Lannan Foundation in Santa Fe, New Mexico, from Nov. 5-7.

Emad Khazraee, School of Library and Information Science, presented "Introduction to Basic Social Media and Social Network Analysis" at the Internet Policy in the MENA Region: Research Methods for Advocates in Istanbul, Turkey, on Sept. 3, 2015.
