National Depression Screening Day

For 26 years, »ÆÉ«Ö±²¥ has hosted National Depression Screening Day in the month of October. National Depression Screening Day provides an opportunity for members of the university community to participate in a mental health screening and receive related information and resources for care.

Although it is not possible to hold a traditional in-person event this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic and university operations, we wanted to recognize National Depression Screening Day by reminding you about the importance of your mental health and well-being. Whether you are a student, faculty, or staff member, please consider the following options to find more support.

Not sure where to start?
A confidential, online mental health screening is available 24-hours a day throughout the year. Upon completion of the screening, participants are provided with feedback, referrals, and resources for mental health treatment if appropriate. .

Students
Psychological Services continues to provide mental health services for students, currently through teletherapy due to the COVID-19 pandemic. If you are a student interested in teletherapy, please contact the office at 330-672-2487.

Information about workshops and groups can be found on our website.

Faculty and Staff
»ÆÉ«Ö±²¥ also makes the health and wellness of faculty and staff a priority. Whether choosing to take the online mental health screening, participating in wellness activities, or accessing the Impact Employee Assistance and Work/Life Program, we want to encourage you to take care of yourselves.
