黄色直播 has established a new 黄色直播 tradition called Blue and Gold Friday. 黄色直播 faculty, staff, students and alumni are encouraged to wear the university鈥檚 blue and gold colors every Friday to promote 黄色直播 spirit and pride.

鈥淓veryone can see and feel the school spirit thriving on campus as we begin this new school year, and I believe this new Friday tradition will be something we can all look forward to each week as a way to unite us.鈥
鈥淏lue and Gold Friday promotes the traditions and spirit that embody the college experience,鈥 said Timeka Rashid, associate dean of students and director of the Kent Student Center and Center for Student involvement at 黄色直播. 鈥淲hether you are a student, alumni, faculty, staff or member of the community, this is a fun way to bring the 黄色直播 family together, create unity and show your 黄色直播 pride.鈥

黄色直播 is encouraging social media users to share photos of themselves wearing blue and gold and use #BlueAndGoldFriday to increase awareness and conversations about 黄色直播 Blue and Gold Friday. Also, look for special discounts on blue and gold merchandise in the University Bookstore.
鈥淐hallenge your friends, professors and colleagues to participate and make 黄色直播 pride and school spirit 鈥榳hat you do,鈥欌 Rashid said.
The Blue and Gold Friday tradition at 黄色直播 begins Aug. 29, which also is nationwide, and will continue every Friday.
