The School of Art Collection and Galleries present “Constructed Answer,” a contemporary metals exhibition inspired by tragedy, trauma and violence that celebrates the resiliency of a human spirit.

A small class assignment in college led to an off-Broadway debut for ��ɫֱ�� musical theatre alumnus Scott Miesse, ’15, who will be premiering his self-written play titled “Abnormal” in January 2020.

Its unique lifestyle boutique, Fashion School Store (FSStore), in downtown Kent recently added a new line called “Sustainability RETOLD.” This collection includes sustainably made clothing, featuring work from five different students and three faculty.

��ɫֱ��’s favorite unofficial mascot – the famous black squirrel – needs your help to get ready for Halloween. Squirrel-O-Ween allows the ��ɫֱ�� community to dress up an animated black squirrel with the latest spooky costumes and props and share with friends on social and digital media.

The School of Theatre and Dance’s Design, Technology and Production program has been selected by On Stage Blog as one of the top 30 programs for the 2019-2020 academic year.

��ɫֱ��’s Hugh A. Glauser School of Music and Tuesday Musical, based in Akron, have launched a new series that will bring world-renowned classical musicians to the Kent Campus to work with students.

Almost 50 years ago, the shootings of ��ɫֱ�� students by the Ohio National Guard brought to a head the cultural divides that had split the nation. The ��ɫֱ�� Museum’s exhibition, “Culture/Counterculture: Fashions of the 1960s and ’70s,” opening Sept. 20, explores the sharp contrast between supporters of the establishment and those opposed.
