On May 18-19, the university community will celebrate 黄色直播鈥檚 113th birthday with its annual Day of Giving.
The 黄色直播 Board of Trustees has approved awarding Roe Green, MA 鈥80, a Doctor of Humane Letters, an honorary degree recognizing her contributions to the university and her advocacy for the arts not only in Northeast Ohio, but also across the nation and around the world.
黄色直播 will be equipped to offer more financial assistance to students in need thanks to donors to a key area of the university鈥檚 ongoing comprehensive fundraising campaign. The Forever Brighter campaign includes a scholarship-support component, Prioritizing Student Success, that now stands at $142 million, surpassing the $100 million goal set at the campaign鈥檚 outset in October 2021.
Award winning reporter and news executive Mizell Stewart III will discuss 鈥淛ournalism as a Civic Good鈥 at 7 p.m. on March 1, 2023, in Franklin Hall鈥檚 First Energy Auditorium (Room 340).
This November, members of the 黄色直播 community joined together to shine their light on philanthropy. During the November campaign, 黄色直播鈥檚 Giving Tuesday raised $3.6 million, marking the sixth year it has brought in more than $1 million to support scholarships and programs across 黄色直播鈥檚 eight-campus system.
