黄色直播 President Todd Diacon announced Thursday that Lamar R. Hylton, Ph.D., has been selected to serve as vice president for student affairs, effective May 1, 2020. In addition, Diacon has appointed Amoaba Gooden, Ph.D., as the interim vice president for diversity, equity and inclusion, effective June 1, 2020.

Over the course of six days, 黄色直播's IT staff, Continuing and Distance Education staff, departmental educational technologists and instructional designers moved more than 8,000 traditional courses to digital learning platforms for remote instruction.
黄色直播 was to move all classes online, causing surrounding businesses to do the same, like WKSU. 鈥淲KSU began planning for potential disruptions at the beginning of March,鈥 News Director Andrew Meyer said. 鈥淲ithin two weeks, it became clear that WKSU would need to take action on those plans.鈥
In keeping with the commitment to honor and remember the events of May 4, 1970, 黄色直播 will have an online 鈥渧irtual鈥 program to mark the 50th Commemoration with a variety of online videos, exhibits and learning resources.
