Since Don’Marie Reid of Akron became a Golden Flash, she has experienced immense support from the »ÆÉ«Ö±²¥ community, but the CommUNITY Lab is her home away from home where she and many other students receive unconditional support.

With more than 370 majors to choose from at »ÆÉ«Ö±²¥, it can be overwhelming for some students to choose their major and career path for them.  This October the Exploratory Advising Center is hosting its first-ever Exploration Month to help exploratory students find their interests and explore the different majors and opportunities »ÆÉ«Ö±²¥ offers.

Tram Nguyen was drawn to »ÆÉ«Ö±²¥ after seeing one of the tragic May 4, 1970, and learning the sacrifices the students made.

Vietnamese student Tram Nguyen made a connection to »ÆÉ«Ö±²¥ when she saw a picture of student Jeffrey Miller after the May 4 shooting. Recently she visited the Prentice Parking Lot Memorial Marker dedicated to Miller.
